Arles: September, 1888<br \/>\nWashington: The Phillips Collection<\/p>\n<p>I travelled to the South of France several times by car from the UK in the 90s, to visit my son and his family who were living there at the time. We made a trip to Arles, and I sat in the entrance way sketching a figure\u00a0reminiscent of one of those featured in Van Gogh&#8217;s paintings in that same spot all those years ago.
